FAST-PACED FPS CARD BATTLER! Defeat foes in the purgatory, but your only way of progression is death.

NOTE: THIS GAME IS MUCH EASIER WITH HEADPHONES

Cards- a breakdown (read these if you don’t want a learning experience)

Time- the number in blue. Shows how long the card’s cooldown is, in milliseconds 

Repetition- the number in yellow. How many times this attack repeats per use 

Damage- the number in red. Shows how much damage per attack

Durability- the number in green. Shows how many times you can use the card before it disappears 


Heres some instructions for people who cant understand:

WASD to move, SPACE to jump

ESC to pause(settings are there)

right click, left click, middle click or 1 2 3 for using cards

To start the game, destroy the totem in the middle

R to reload cards manually 

Hold shift when using cards to discard them

When you reach 0 lives, you lose

This game is INCREDIBLE for a 10 day gamejam production, very nice concept, great execution and the controls just feel good.

For me personally, it was a bit TOO fast-paced, after a while I barely knew what was going on and was pretty quickly in pray and spray mode. I would consider slowing the pace down a bit, while making the enemies tougher, but that's just my preference :)

Exactly. If there was some kind of upgrade/experience component for the cards, this would be rest of my damned week.

Nice idea for post jam update, I might add some sort of meta progression, probably achievements which unlock more cards
